Contract Description:
The purpose of this contract is to establish an operating plan and corresponding budget for post-acquisition management activities for properties acquired under the Colville Confederated Tribes (CCT) and Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) Fish Habitat Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) established January of 2008. Such post-acquisition management activities shall be accomplished internally by CCT Fish and Wildlife staff, through sub-contracts established with private third parties and also through private third parties who are interested in leasing and maintaining lands or portions thereof for some type of agricultural or residential purpose. This contract differs from the OSHIP contract managed by Keith Kistler because Keith's budget deals with riparian areas and associated fisheries projects, while this property management contract focuses mainly on the management of acquired uplands although some riparian lands are included. Attached is an Anadromous Property Listing showing all properties acquired under the 2008 CCT BPA MOA thus far; this listing does not include the Harlan and Robbins properties purchased prior to 2008, nor does it include the King property located next to the Colville Tribal Hatchery near Bridgeport, Washington.
